BCVault is a backup solution offering complete automation in the transfer of electronic information to DSM's secure Data Vault. All Data is encrypted prior to transmission thus ensuring total security of information.

 

BCVault provides a simple and efficient method of backing up or restoring information without the headache and overhead of traditional methods ie: Tape, CD, Disk.

 

Once configured, the client system will transmit the selected data at the scheduled times. Data restoration, if required, is provided via user interface at the client site (no reliance on others or the need to find tapes etc) - just point and click.

 

Support is provided for Windows, Novel, Mac, Linux, Unix, IBM ASx. Laptop users can have their system automatically backed-up upon detection of an internet presence.

 

In the event of a major equipment loss - systems can be rapidly recovered, to dissimilar hardware, using the 'bare metal restoration' utility.
