BCVault is a backup solution offering complete automation in the transfer of electronic information to an 'Off Site Store'.  Data is compressed and encrypted prior to transmission thus ensuring total security of information.

 

BCVault provides a simple and efficient method of backing up or restoring information without the headache and overhead of traditional methods ie: Tape, CD, Disk.

 

Once configured, the client system will transmit the selected data at the scheduled times. Data restoration, if required, is provided via user interface at the client site (no reliance on others or the need to find tapes etc) - just point and click.

 

Support is provided for Windows, Novel, Mac, Linux, Unix, IBM ASx.

 

In the event of a major equipment loss - systems can be rapidly recovered, to dissimilar hardware, using the 'bare metal restoration' utility.

BCVault is located within DSM's Data Centre. If you need physical access we give it.

 

DSM's Data Centre is fully powered protected to Tier Level 4 meaning power will never be lost plus environmentally controlled meaning the Vault will never suffer from overheating.

 

DSM's DataComs comprises of twin, high speed, physically separated and routed Fibre cables over which the Backups are received. If one fails the other takes over automaticaly.

 

BCVault is backed up to an off site location further ensuring the safety of your data.
