DSM is a leading supplier of Business Continuity services and solutions to organisations who require continued operation in any circumstance.

DSM provides tailored Service Level Agreements to accommodate the specifics of each business. Consideration through expertise in understanding the various technical issues is balanced against the necessities of speed of recovery and budgetary constraints in order to attain the correct solution. Working closely with clients in implementing, testing and developing these solutions are all part of the DSM commitment to valued service.

The wide range of solutions available from DSM including Workplace Recovery, Hosting and Managed Services are all backed by 'in-house' highly skilled technicians and consultants.

Residing in the East Midlands at 37m above sea level and occupying a four acre rural site with parking for over 500 vehicles, the DSM facility is the largest centre in the region. Configured Workplace Recovery is 600 positions spread across five air conditioned suites. Overall capacity is in excess of 800 positions. A number of meeting rooms including a 40 seat theatre suite, 20 seat executive board room and a 50 seat canteen are available to all clients during occupation. All suites are power protected by generator and UPS systems thus allowing continued, uninterrupted operation in any mains failure situation. Redundant power, dual water supplies, on-site sewerage handling, diverse communication over three medium (Fibre, Copper, Microwave) and two carriers, perhaps make it evident as to why DSM's client base has a number of high profile 'blue chip' companies. The facility also offers in excess of 2500sq ft of Data Centre space.

The 'rural' location eliminates the many risks associated with 'city centre' / 'industrial area' facilities whilst at the same time enabling excellent access from the numerous, close proximity 'A' routes ie: A1M 3miles, A47 2miles, A605 2miles, A14 8miles. The facility can also accommodate helicopter arrivals direct into the secure compound. And although 'rural', the facility has, within a 5 minute drive, access to one of the largest 'out of town' Shopping Centres within the UK and 22 eating establishments ranging from a roadside cafe, through a Lochfyne fish restaurant to an a-la-carte menu of the Haycock Hotel. Peterborough City centre is 20 minutes drive and London Kings Cross, by train, a further 55 minutes.
